Who We Are
About Us
- Karaway, LLC is an assisted living, Home Plus facility for people 18 and older who are in need of more care than they can provide for themselves at their own home. Megan and Duff Tuell are the owners of this facility. Megan has been a licensed LPN since 2002 and Duff has owned his own local business called 'Steel Fixture Manufacturing Company' since 1998.
- Karaway, LLC is a 7 bed facility, equipped with a full kitchen with day and night access (with staff accompaniment), a living room with a fireplace and also recliners with lift technology so the residents can sit down and exit the recliner at their own pace, and a center hall with a beautiful set of stairs that has a built in lift so the residents can move about from upstairs to downstairs freely under staff supervision.
- Karaway is here to help provide the residents and their families the security of knowing that their loved one will be comfortable, well cared for, and treated with the utmost respect and dignity with licensed CNA's and CMA's on-site day and night, a licensed nurse in and out daily and on call as well, and a doctor will also visit the residents once every 2 weeks as well as being on call 24/7.

I have come to love each of you as you cared for my Dad, the way meals were tailored to his preferences, the personal touch that WE experienced was Amazing. After only a short time I felt such a sense of relief knowing that he was finally living in a place that he was comfortable with and that I knew would look after him. He told me numerous times of how well he thought you were taking care of him. I will never forget the way everyone went out of their way to make his Birthday so special, with Presents and the wonderful meal and cake that was homemade right there. One thing that I was told in the beginning was that the idea at Karaway was to provide a different environment than other care facilities, a way to do things better. This is what Karaway is. Karaway took amazing care of my grandpa! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a small home to put their loves ones who need help with day to day things but also like to have their own space and freedom. They do outings and Are always willing to take them places they want to go! Megan and her staff are amazing.

My mom was moved here late Feb 2021. She was a total care patient at that point. Could not do anything for herself. The staff made sure she was put in a chair a few times a week as well as took great care of her. Totally recommend Karaway. They helped us through some tough times. They even did little things to help make sure my dad was taking care of himself as well. As he sat by moms bedside till her final day. They did that out of the kindness of their heart and the love they have for their residents. Thank y’all for taking care of our family and mom.

Karaway is certified for providing service using Medicaid assistance. Payments may also be made using private-pay or private insurance. Home Plus Care
Karaway serves the needs of residents by providing a residential setting, meals, and social activities in a non-medical and compassionate, home-like environment. We accomplish our goal by collaborating and partnering with family members, social workers, staff, and other professionals and supporters to help ensure residents are offered every opportunity to develop and have a fulfilled, quality life.
Karaway accepts residents who may be medically fragile, or require needs due to Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Fracture Recovery, and Wound Care.
Physical Therapy will be available to every resident every day of the week.
Activities
We will have a number of activities available to your loved ones at Karaway, LLC. We will also be offering an off-site activity once a week for the residents. This is where staff will take the residents of Karaway off the property to do something fun and enjoyable if the residents wish to do so.
These activities can include but are not limited to:
- Going out to eat
- Going out to a movie
- Taking a visit to the lake
- Going out to the park
Those are just a few of the activities we will offer to our residents at Karaway, LLC. We hope that doing things like this with them will help their stay be more enjoyable and comfortable.
